Silvia and Joseph's glamorous style wedding in Toronto surely captured the essence of their personalities and the attention of others. We were excited to be among the few to be selected as their wedding videographer in Toronto.
This is Silvia and Joseph's wedding story.
While attending Dante Alighieri high school in Toronto, Joseph (aka DJ Ghost) met Silvia in 2003. They met while crossing paths in school, and often Silvia would catch Joe spinning some records during lunch hour in the cafeteria. Needless to say, it was love at first sight. Fast forward 13 years later, and Joe popped the question to Silvia while on vacation in the beautiful Portuguese island of Graciosa, Azores. Joseph described the scenery and the proposal to be emotional and breathtaking.
Joe Ghost is globally recognized for his art in music. He is a well-known international DJ and music producer. He has also worked alongside other popular icons like DJ Tiesto. Knowing this gave us the inspiration needed to put forth a thrilling Toronto wedding video that would leave an everlasting impression.
During our wedding consultations in Toronto, we certainly got to know more about Joseph and his lovely bride Silvia. After much discussion about their wedding day plans and ideas, it was obvious we were on the same thinking path. Silvia was very clear and particular about the mood and ambiance of their wedding day theme. It was essential that we not only capture the finer details, but also the feeling behind them.
Capturing the finer details of the day, from Silvia’s gorgeous wedding dress to her wedding shoes, her engagement ring, and her well-manicured nails gave us the significant pieces to mold their film. Silvia is that bride that every Toronto wedding videographer wishes for. As for Joseph, he looked mighty sharp as well, in his well-tailored wedding suit, perfectly cut hair, and never fading smile. You could tell this couple was totally made for each other.
When we arrived at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Toronto on the 20th of January 2018, nothing would have prepared us for how breathtaking this couple looked and how romantic the ceremony was. It truly felt like the world was watching. The moment Silvia made her appearance up the aisle, it really felt like time stopped. Joseph just couldn't keep his eyes off her. Emotions were at an all-time high. And why not, The bride was absolutely stunning. We took notice of every spectacle during this Toronto wedding ceremony. As professional Toronto wedding videographers, we made sure we captured those priceless moments, especially at how they stepped out of the Church, together, holding hands and smiling at the world.
After the wedding ceremony in Toronto, we headed to the Mint Room in Toronto to take more photos. We were blown away by the venue's luxurious appeal. It was the perfect Toronto wedding photo location for this dual. We had the privilege to work alongside the talented team at Purple Tree Photography. Together we made magic become a reality. Boy can this couple pose!
The reception was the final event of the day and it swept everyone off their feet. The reception was held at Chateau Le Parc in Vaughan. The decor was out of this world! The moment you opened the door, you'd take notice of the gigantic centerpieces and shiny glimmer on the guest tables. It was only later when we found out the wedding decor and florals were provided by the groom's sister. During the reception, the couple had their beautiful choreographed wedding first dance. All eyes were on deck as the two twirled, locked arms, and bowed to their guests. And how can we not mention the dancing? What a party! A special appearance and performance by Toronto’s very own DJ 4Korners (official DJ of the Toronto Raptors) and the groom (DJ Joe Ghost) was a welcoming surprise to all guests. We captured the entire event from different angles to give them the best Toronto wedding videography experience ever.
We couldn't have asked for a better day with an amazing couple. Silvia and Joseph are truly the most sweetest people we have ever met. We were delighted to have been mentioned on their Wedluxe magazine feature page. This Ontario wedding left us with such optimism and inspiration. We are forever grateful.
