Creating a Branding Video for A Vacation Home Rental

Branding video in Fort Erie, Toronto Corporate Videographer

The video I created for In The Moment was a huge success. There were many factors that influenced the success of this video, but three, in particular, stood out to me the most. First, I wanted to create something that would be memorable and interesting. Second, I wanted to make sure that it had an emotional connection with the viewer and a potential customer; something they could relate with and feel connected to. Finally, I knew from experience that visuals are key when creating content like this- so my goal was to come up with a visually engaging video!

The Opportunity

I always enjoy working with clients who are confident in my creative work. Christine Yu of Property Identity knew that I would be the perfect fit for Darlene's video project, and she offered me a great opportunity to showcase what skills I have! We had brief conversations about her concept before starting on this new venture together. The conversations proved to be very helpful because they gave us an idea as to where we needed to begin and provided much necessity as to what directions to provide our client with. Darlene is truly an admirable entrepreneur, and I must admit, I fell in love with her vision and brand name, "In The Moment." The brand name speaks for itself. That's why I knew my video had to be visually engaging! As soon as I got the green light from Darlene, I started brainstorming ideas for how we were going to bring the vision into reality.

The Concept and Structure

The concept wasn't much different from our previous branding video project with Christine's "Property Identity". We all agreed that it would make sense to utilize the same structure and design for the edit while highlighting the property and its features with storyline visuals taken from our previous Property Identity video edit. We wanted to integrate more of the property's key features and less of the storyline, as we see in the Property Identity’s video. We decided to put focus on the luxurious details and comfortability of the home by showcasing its uniqueness and admirable floor layout.

The Focus & Perception

We wanted to convey a certain mood with this promotional video. A sense of excitement and calmness. We felt the crystal clean water shots and the surrounding beach visuals would help persuade the mood to the viewer. To the vacation home seeker, the intention behind the video was to keep up with the temptation by seducing the viewer with beautiful and romantic scenery that revolve around a honeymoon experience. Consequently, those that resemble a Sandals beach vacation, straight out of the Caribbean. It didn't take much to accomplish this as Crystal Beach in Fort Erie is already a beautiful and clean beachfront that has so much to offer to local suburban residents in southern Ontario. And what makes this beach and this vacation property so amazing is the fact it's only an hour and a half away from Toronto. Knowing this, we wanted to make sure we targeted the right audience and relayed that message out on video.

The Final Outcome

At the end of all things, we feel we did a very good job of portraying the qualities of this luxury vacation home and displaying the eye-candy features of this property. The aerial shots were impeccable and we felt it truly brought us closer to the intimacy of the beach. The drone shots of Crystal Beach were fleeting and felt relaxing to watch as the team was able to maneuver over the house and the beach shores. The beauty inside this beach house is clean and rich. Bringing upon us a feeling of inner peace and high regard. The video exposes a sense of serenity and calmness which is what we were aiming for in a vacation property video.

If you are looking for a beach vacation in Southern Ontario in the Niagara region, In The Moment is the place to visit. You will love the luxury and the beach settings that it has to offer. Oh, and did I mention the plethora of restaurants along the main strip. Check out San Vitos while you are at it. They make the best pizzas in the Niagara region! Definitely, a must-visit, especially if you are from the Toronto area. Needless to say, Darlene is a happy camper. Being a Toronto videographer and having to reach out to a client from Fort Erie for a corporate branding video meant a lot to our team. I am so happy she entrusted us with this project and thus, we could not be any happier with the final result. Check out their new branding video for In The Moment.
